How good are the 2025 Phillies?
We’ll start to find out in two days, but this feels like a pretty safe bet: This is a good team, with a solid baseline to compete in the NL East and for a playoff spot. There’s certainty across the roster with stars like Bryce Harper and Zack Wheeler. I’d bank on another Kyle Schwarber-ish season out of the slugger. Aaron Nola is as steady as they get. Cristopher Sanchez looks poised to build on his 2024 breakout.
But what about the other, less-predictable players?
Here are the five that will swing the season, hopefully from good to great.
