Here are my six early thoughts on the matchup and spot for the Eagles in the first round of the postseason.

The perfect time slot: I love that the Eagles got the 4:30 Sunday afternoon slot. It just feels bigger. Tom Brady’s first playoff game. Early-evening darkness. Not having to deal with potential snow in the area on Saturday for fans driving to the game. It’s perfect.

This could be a passing game: I know, I know. You want to just scream “RUN THE BALL!” as loud as you can. But Green Bay is without its top corner, and rank third in the NFL in yards before contact per carry. Much like the Steelers game, the best plan of attack could be to throw.
