Can we keep the main thing the main thing?

Trea Turner could return this weekend from a hamstring injury. But should he, and for what reason?

Oh boy.

At the sake of sounding hypocritical after advocating to let Kyle Schwarber chase after the single-season home run crown, can we please (collectively) keep our eye on the prize?

The goal for the next three days of Phillies baseball should be clear: Get enough work in to feel good heading into a down week before the NLDS starts on Oct. 4. That’s it. Nothing should be more important than that, right?

I would think we’re all on the same page there, including the team’s plan for Trea Turner’s return from injury. But after seeing what could be part of the consideration to return this weekend, I have questions.
