Complete and total embarrassment

The Phillies should be embarrassed. I'm embarrassed for them.

What a joke.

The Phillies walked into Citi Field in Queens this week with a chance to fully bury a Mets team that had been leaking oil since June. Instead, they put life back in what looked like a dead team.

And if it was simply three games that went the wrong way, I’d say ‘OK, let’s flush and move on.’

But you and I watched the same series. It wasn’t that. It was two teams that didn’t belong on the same field together. It was a complete and utter embarrassment. It was Sixers-esque. And it was a sad reminder of what this Phillies group truly has proven to be over the last few years.
