Eagles offensive coordinator search must involve this name

Losing Kellen Moore will sting, but the Eagles can make a strong long-term pivot at offensive coordinator.

It was just a matter of days.

As the city of Philadelphia (and the entire Eagles organization) basks in the glow of one of the most dominant Super Bowl victories in history, the NFL cycle keeps on churning. Sure, the franchise will take time to celebrate with the fans during a parade on Friday. But that doesn’t mean there isn’t business to attend to very soon.

First up: Replacing offensive coordinator Kellen Moore, who signed off on a contract to become the new head coach of the New Orleans Saints.

Is losing Moore a big deal? I think so. Some might not. Either way, we’re looking at Jalen Hurts’ fourth play caller in four years. With a championship to defend, the Eagles have to get this right.

Here’s a list of names that make sense as the next Eagles offensive coordinator. But if the Eagles want this search to be done right, one particular person has to be interviewed for the job.
