Get me to October

How great was that?

It doesn’t get better than a four-game sweep of the Mets, capped off by coming back from an early four-run deficit in the series finale. The NL East is (all but) over. The Phillies have put themselves in outstanding position for at least a top-two seed in the National League, and Citizens Bank Park looked and felt like it will in October over the last few days.

That energy includes one of my favorite players on the team, and one that I can’t wait to see take down a big moment in a big spot next month.
