As Phillies spring training comes to a close, one battle that’s been top of mind from Day 1 has seemingly reached its conclusion without an actual conclusion: The leadoff spot atop the order.

Instead of Kyle Schwarber or Trea Turner, it sounds like the start of the Phillies season will involve Schwarber and Turner both atop the lineup, alternating based on if the opposing starting pitcher is a righty or lefty.

Is this a good move? Should we applaud Rob Thomson’s creativity, or question his logic?
