Has Dave Dombrowski gone completely tone deaf?
The Phillies president of baseball operations has had some very bizarre quotes recently, including one that defies the logic of his own team.

Less is more, Dave.
Lately, that’s the phrase I keep repeating to myself whenever I hear Phillies president of baseball operations Dave Dombrowski in front of a microphone. And to be clear: Dave is a great speaker. He’s honest. He’s forthcoming. He (usually) keeps it real. Over all my years as a baseball fan, he’s been one of my favorite executives to listen to, well before he got to the Phillies.
But Dombrowski is having a tough run lately.
Specifically, two things Dombrowski said since the end of last season came off totally tone deaf and out of touch with this fan base.
