Fans are frustrated, sad, disappointed, and dejected. Nothing any general manager or team president can say at a podium will give back the time and energy we give to the teams, especially in years when it results in a crushing defeat.
But Phillies president of baseball operations Dave Dombrowski made it harder than it had to be yesterday by failing to say the one thing he needed to say and by doubling down on the one thing none of us wanted or cared to hear.
