Honoring a pair of radio legends
Philadelphia lost two radio legends yesterday.

If you know me, you know why I’m where I am today.
I’m a sports guy.
I have been since I was a little kid. I didn’t want to miss a pitch, snap, or minute. I would record games on VHS (yes, I’m that old) just to re-watch. It was my why to pursue a career. And radio became my how.
Sometime along the way, I became a radio guy more than just a sports guy. It’s why I eschewed full-time opportunities in writing to keep a dream in this industry. And it’s why a day like yesterday hit particularly hard in Philadelphia with the losses of WMMR’s Pierre Robert and KYW’s Harry Donahue.
