On one side there’s Sean McVay, the 38-year-old that’s already won 80 games (including six double-digit win seasons), eight playoff games, coached in two Super Bowls, and hoisted a Lombardi.

On other side (and up in a booth), there’s Vic Fangio, the 66-year-old with claim as the one of the top defensive minds of the last 40 years in pro football.

The perception at stake: Fangio owns McVay, and is one of the only defensive coaches to stop his offenses over and over again.
