How the Eagles should fix struggling edge rush group
The Eagles need more help off the edge. Here's an idea.

Sometimes the solution is right there under your nose.
For the Eagles, solutions are needed. Everywhere, really. But especially at the edge rush position after the abrupt retirement of veteran Za’Darius Smith.
Heading into Week 7, here’s what Vic Fangio’s current group looks like:
Nolan Smith (IR): 0 sacks
Jalyx Hunt: 0 sacks
Josh Uche: 0 sacks
Azeez Ojulari: 0 sacks
Patrick Johnson: 1.0 sacks
That’s as thin and unproductive of a group as there is in the league right now. And while the NFL trade deadline is less than three weeks away, internal options should always be considered first.
Including a player who looks the part in a major way.
