Let's not overcomplicate this.

Last week, the clock was ticking on the Phillies season the minute Rob Thomson called for the ill-fated bunt attempt in the ninth inning of Game 2 of the NLDS vs. the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Now the clock is ticking on the Phillies to make a determination on Thomson’s future as the manager of the team.

While there’s undoubtably a lot that goes into a decision like this, let’s keep try to simply this for team president Dave Dombrowski and owner John Middlenton, shall we?
