Is J.T. Realmuto cooked?

The Phillies dropped the long-time star catcher to eighth in the batting order last night.

Father Time is undefeated.

That’s especially true for catchers.

Before last night’s 2-0 win over the Atlanta Braves, the Phillies made an appropriate, yet still jarring move: Dropping J.T. Realmuto to eighth in the lineup. It’s been years since that was a thing, and a far cry from the stature Realmuto carried hitting cleanup during the franchise’s 2022 run to the World Series.

So, is this where we are at with Realmuto? Is he fully cooked as a hitter?

Here’s what I’m noticing.
