Winter doesn’t officially arrive for another few days, but it sure feels like Dave Dombrowski is looking forward to spring.
During yesterday’s press conference to announce Adolis Garcia’s one-year contract, the Phillies team president acted as if his outfield—currently comprised of Brandon Marsh, Justin Crawford, and Adolis Garcia—is set. The full lineup might be too, if and when J.T. Realmuto re-signs.
So, this it? Is this the Opening Day lineup?
Trea Turner, SS
Alec Bohm, 3B
Bryce Harper, 1B
Kyle Schwarber, DH
Adolis Garcia, RF
Brandon Marsh, LF
J.T. Realmuto, C
Bryson Stott, 2B
Justin Crawford, CF
Is that good enough? Can this beat the Dodgers? Time will tell, but everything about this feels shaky.
