Sometimes we overdo the “vibes” stuff around here, especially in baseball. There are so many games, and momentum and perspective can change on a daily basis.

But the NFL postseason actually feels like the best litmus test for it. There’s only one game per week. Players wear their emotions on their sleeves. The teams with good cultures and full buy-in to what the coach is selling (this version of the Lions, the 2017 Eagles) seem to preserve through any obstacle thrown in their way. Then there’s the case of last year’s Eagles, which felt like a dead-team walking into January.

That brings us to the current version of the Green Bay Packers, a dangerous foe on paper but one with some serious bad vibes entering the playoffs.
