My Eagles-NFL Tush Push conspiracy theory

Let's put on our Tin Foil hats and work through what's gone on the last few days.

Walk with me here.

We’re in the midst of 72 hours of Tush Push slander.

From Fox rules analyst Dean Blandino whining during Eagles-Chiefs, to ESPN’s Adam Schefter talking about how the Eagles won the game in March (even though the actual owners vote was taken in May), to every talk show host with a national platform decrying a one-yard quarterback sneak as if it was the offseason all over again. The reason: Seven Eagles tush pushes on Sunday in a Super Bowl rematch, including (at least) one in which the officials missed a blatant false start from both Philadelphia guards and a late-game pile that may or may not have included a fumble by Jalen Hurts.

But what if I told you that this was all part of Roger Goodell’s plan to finally rid the game of a play he (and many) hate? What if the rhetoric wasn’t organic, but rather carefully orchestrated?

Let’s put on our tin foil hats, shall we?
