I love a good comp.

It’s a natural part of fandom, especially if you watch a ton of sports. You see a young player and you’re reminded of another player—perhaps someone currently playing, perhaps someone from the past. It doesn’t matter. It just comes to mind. In baseball, it could be a batting stance or pitching windup. In football, it’s often size and movement. In basketball, it could be shooting form.

With the 2026 NFL Draft in the books, I’ve seen enough highlights, scoured enough YouTube and recalled enough of the last few years of college football to give out my Eagles draft class comps.
