Phillies thoughts after watching Mariners-Blue Jays Game 7

What a game. What a night. What a sport.

I can understand if you’ve checked out of the rest of the baseball playoffs after the Phillies-Dodgers NLDS. It’s not a sports fan character flaw. I get it, but I just can’t do it. October baseball is addicting for me, especially as the games and series get bigger.

And as I watched the Blue Jays punch their ticket to the 2025 World Series in a Game 7 classic last night, I had a lot of Phillies team building thoughts—both looking back and looking forward.
