Welcome to “well, we tried!” season.
That’s what I like to call this portion of the NBA calendar, where every team with assets is doing everything it possibly can to land difference-making talent.
That includes the Sixers, who are armed with the No. 3 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft and a roster that could (theoretically) try to contend next year, get younger and contend, or fully go into rebuilding for the future mode.
Which makes the team’s reported interest in San Antonio’s No. 2 overall pick so interesting.
More specifically, what it might cost to move up one spot for Rutgers guard Dylan Harper.
