The best part of a great Phillies weekend

Now that was a great weekend of baseball.

The double slide on Friday night. Kyle Schwarber’s power on Sunday night. Juan Soto hearing the boos (and responding with some blasts) all series long.

A series victory over the Mets helped in the short term (one game up in the NL East) and long term (finally, they beat the Mets). But the biggest takeaway is something that could manifest itself in October, with the kind of player that looks built for the big stage.
