The downside to being patient

The Eagles don’t need Jaire Alexander, but there’s value in improving even when it’s not necessary.

When we talk about the Eagles, there’s an overarching point we all accept: The defending Super Bowl champions are in a really good place, and nothing short of catastrophic injury will change that anytime soon.

But that doesn’t mean the 2025 Eagles reside in a realm so far above the other contenders that improvements aren’t worth discussing.

In fact, there’s value in getting better even when it’s not deemed necessary.
