The elephant in the 2025 Eagles room

The Eagles have a lot of issues entering Week 7. One stands out the most.

The 2024 Eagles created an incredible, winning formula.

The 2025 Eagles haven’t come close to replicating it.

With six weeks of football in the books, the record says the Eagles are 4-2. That, on the surface, is fine. It’s exactly where the team was one year ago at this time. But you and I both know that this looks different—and not in a good way.

The Eagles have been outgained in every game this year. They’ve achieved fewer first downs than their opponent in every game. That’s an untenable combination. Based on point differential (minus-1), the Eagles are more like a .500 team than anything dominant early on.

This season can be fixed, as long as the elephant in the room is addressed.
