The huge advantage Eagles have over Commanders this week

Washington is trying to do something no team has done in NFL history.

By now, you’ve probably seen it.

The Washington Commanders’ team slogan of “Anybody. Anywhere. Anytime.” is pretty catchy. It has been part of one of the biggest culture and team turnaround stories in modern NFL history. And it certainly sums up a team that’s taken its act on the road in the postseason.

But when I heard it echoing through the Commanders locker room after their upset win over the Detroit Lions in the Divisional Round, it got me thinking about this team’s path to facing the Eagles in the NFC Championship Game.

And after diving back into how the Commanders got here, it hit me: We’re not (yet) talking about the history they are trying to make (no, not the rookie quarterback to the Super Bowl thing) and why the venue for Sunday’s NFC Championship Game could be the x-factor.
