When the Eagles executive asked for patience, this is what he meant.
Milton Williams to the Patriots. Josh Sweat to the Cardinals. Darius Slay to the Steelers, reportedly. Oren Burks to the Bengals. Kenny Pickett to the Browns in exchange for a late-round pick and Dorian Thompson-Robinson.
But the most interesting move the Eagles didn’t make yesterday involved a player that wasn’t particularly expensive (Williams, Sweat), old (Slay), or holding anyone back (Pickett) from a more prominent role.
