The NFL doesn't care about people that actually go to games
While we've been arguing about the tush push, the NFL quietly passed a resolution to screw ticket holders.

The NFL is a television show first, sporting event second.
While that order has been established for a while, it’s always striking to me how little the league seems to care about the one million (give or take based on stadium size and bye weeks) people that attend games each week of the season. The product is designed, catered, engineered (and re-engineered) for the at-home audience, not the people who actually go to the games. Television is where the money is for the NFL. In-person fans are nothing but the live studio audience.
The latest example? A resolution the NFL quietly passed yesterday, making it even harder to plan a trip or even buy tickets with any sort of confidence to games next season and beyond.
