Roger Goodell and the NFL powers aren't just out to get the Tush Push. We also could be in store for a major shift in how the postseason format looks.

Get ready for a playoff format change.
At least if Roger Goodell has anything to do with it.
Quietly, while we were all yelling about the Tush Push last week, the NFL tabled the Lions proposal for playoff re-seeding until May. Just like it did with the Tush Push. Which means another month of deliberation, back-channel deal making, and potential convincing of those on the fence.
Plus, it sure seems like the Lions proposal was really a joint venture between NFL powers and the team. It didn’t just come from the Lions.
So how would the landscape of the league change if it’s passed?
