The Phillies can’t let this happen

Dave Dombrowski has major work to do between now and the MLB trade deadline.

The first third of the season is for figuring out what you have. The second third of the season is going out and fixing what needs to be fixed. The final third is to go for October.

Sixty-one games in, we know what the Phillies have (starting pitching, perhaps even more than we thought). We also know what they don’t have: A deep bullpen, good defense, and long lineup.

I’m not sure how much Dave Dombrowski can change or patch up between now and the trade deadline, but I do have one request.
