I’m running in the Eagles Autism Challenge next weekend to raise money for the Eagles Autism Foundation. You can donate to a great cause here.
When a team makes a comeback from 3-1 to force a Game 7 in the NBA, there’s always more than one reason.
In the case of the Sixers storming back on the Celtics, a few things are worth noting:
-Joel Embiid’s return, specifically his play in Game 5, gave the Sixers a boost. That boost is probably as much of a mental thing as a physical thing.
-Boston isn’t making its threes. Last night, the Celtics shot 12-of-41 from deep. That 29 percent mark is enough to shoot themselves out of any game against a decent opponent.
-Role players are stepping up.
Let’s talk about one in particular. Yup, that $51.6M guy.
