You weren’t the only one feeling it.
As the Phillies and Tigers played a highly-entertaining, back-and-forth series at Citizens Bank Park this weekend, it just felt different.
Maybe it was the weather, far cooler than the oppressive heat of early last week. Maybe it was the electric entrance (and performance) by Jhoan Duran on both Friday and Sunday evening. Maybe it was seeing aces on Saturday. Maybe it was a Tigers team full of all stars.
For me, it was all of those things with one extra little subplot added on.
