What a night. What a month. What a gift.

The Phillies are once again National League East champions, thanks to a clincher out west last night. If you missed it, fell asleep (I get it!) or decided to rest up for October, you missed a game that felt like October: Late lead changes, clutch hits, a go-ahead Bryce Harper home run, Phillies bullpen issues (Orion Kerkering is a concern heading into the postseason), and extra-inning drama.

In the end, the Phillies came out on top, 6-5.

And as I watched the (well earned) celebration throughout the clubhouse, two things kept popping into my mind.
