One thing missing from latest Jalen Hurts-Eagles drama

There’s a missing piece to the latest round of drama surrounding the Eagles, Jalen Hurts, A.J. Brown and a locker room that seemingly lives on a line between self-destruction and perfection.

As more and more comes out about how the team reportedly feels about Hurts’ play, it’s easy to be disappointed in those leaking info. I am. It’s not good for the team, morale or the pursuit of another Lombardi Trophy.

It’s also fair to wonder how much of it is true, why it’s coming out now, and who has the most to gain by dragging Hurts’ name through the mud. It’s hard to imagine most of the locker room and organization is anti-Hurts, but clearly some are. That’s for certain.

Though as each day passes, I keep waiting for someone to say something—anything—like this.
